Make Note of This

When I was reading through chapter 7 of my PR textbook, I ran across some really helpful facts.  I wanted to share these facts with all of you, so grab some paper and take some notes!

  • Feature stories are very similar to news releases in their format.  They both should include letterheads, contacts, headlines, and datelines.
  • In feature stories should see things like: quotes, concrete example, information presented in a creative and interesting way, and very descriptive wording choice.
  • Try to include photos and graphics with feature story, for they can be a crucial key to your feature story package.

Those are just a few helpful facts that I made note of while reading Chapter 7, so hopefully you will check out the text to learn even more!
