Jot this Down

When I was reading Chapter 4 in my PR textbook, I spotted some facts that are worth jotting down.

  • As a PR professional, one of your biggest objectives should be to produce positive publicity for your client or employer.
  • In order to create publicity you need to have problem-solving and creativity skills.
  • If you are going to be able to create publicity for your client/employer, you must first be very familiar with the organization/company that you represent.
  • Also, it is crucial that you monitor current events that involve or relate to the organization/company you represent.  You should also pay attention to situations that might affect those you represent.

Those were just a few of the points that I thought were worth jotting down, so be sure to read this chapter for yourself!
