Don’t Overlook These Facts

When I was reading Chapter 6 in my PR textbook, I read some important facts that I hope you won’t overlook.

  • Facts sheets can be a useful tool.  They are typically one-page background sheets that contain information about an event, organization, or a product.
  • When trying to create publicity, be sure to be familiar with how to produce a media kit.  A media kit contains things like news releases, photos, and fact sheets.
  • As a PR Professional, you should also know how to produce a media advisory.  This is also known as a media alert, which is used to let editors know of opportunities that may come about for photos or video coverage of an event or interview.

Those were just a few of the facts that I suggest you do not over look.  If you want to read further, be sure to check out the textbook for yourself!
