Key Points

Some key points I found while reading Chapter 9 in my PR book:

  • Public opinion is hard to measure, because the public rarely has a unanimous opinion
  • Publics react strongly to events
  • The key to public opinion is public discussion
  • Clear persuasive communication is crucial
  • It is crucial to know your audience
